We would like to hire 1-3 individuals to join the YewFlow family as a bike coach. You responsibilities will be to help us run our summer camp program and bring good vibes and stoke to the team! On occasion you will be asked to help facilitate field trips to regional riding destinations in Western Colorado. Yes, that means you might be getting paid to jump on a trampoline at Woodward Copper Adventure Sports Center!! Your primary job will be coaching and wrangling kids age 5-14 at our YewFlow Summer Camps, with each week being slightly different scenery and focus. We will be fitting coaches to camp groups based upon experience and riding ability levels. These positions are Part Time Seasonal and they come with many opportunities to grow with us.
YewFlow was founded in 2022 by Andrew Mann. Andrew is an avid rider and longtime RFV local with his roots in BMX riding and trail building. Andrew built the Crown Mountain Bike Park in 2020 and has been coaching kids on bikes ever since. YewFlow offers summer camps, private lessons, and advanced training for young riders with a focus on gravity end of the sport. Our summer camps take place at bike parks so riders can develop riding fundamentals from the ground up, while finding their flow and personal style on the bike. Our summer camps are a blend of freestyle riding fundamentals, mountain biking, and lots of FUN. We incorporate mindfulness practices, goal setting, and positivity into everything we do with the kids.
Our only requirements are that you like to ride bikes, you like working with kids, and you bring a positive attitude to the team. Those with previous coaching experience, mountain bike coaching or first aid certifications, or camp councilor experience will be prioritized but it is not required.
